7. How would you deal with longer class days, for example, schools on a four day schedule often begin at 7 am and end 5 pm.?
1. 300 people
2. to spend time with family and because his boss was sidlining him
3. when political candidates fill clubs with there supporters to get endorsements
4. bars and restaurants
5. 250 million, no I have not seen it but i want too
1. the story starts with explaining the intentions of why a school in a small town used a four day school week as an incentive. The article also talks about the invalid reason that people are preposing, and why it is not beneficial to most situations. Lastly the article talks about where and how it is used, and what it saves.
2.The advantages are it attracts people an teachers to the district. This also has improved the teachers ability to plan lessons and make there grading easier. Lastly it has also helped students who need help access it on the day off.
3. The disadvantages of the system is some juvenile behavior has gone up in the day that is off. Another is the expense of child care and the meals that have to be provided by the parents instead of low cost school meals.
4. I would like four days because I think it would give us more time to complete weekend homework, and make our block schedule less confusing to figure out. Sometimes on weekends I feel overwhelmed with the work we have. so this would be a nice day to take everything and spread it out over a couple of days instead of two.
5. I would try to involve myself in more activities outside of school, because with this free time I would want to use it efficiently. I would want to take this time and use it for good and not to do bad things like some people have chosen.
6.I feel that longer classes would be more dreadful and still too much time, so I suggest adding in another class period or making fit and lunch a bit longer, so we don't feel to overwhelmed all the time.
