long answer
- I think automatic guns should definitely be more controlled to the public or not even accessible at all. No one really in their daily life has the need for an automatic weapon so why even give access to the people. To defend yourself you only really need something such as a pistol to kill or injure someone just like the police carry. Even with those types I think extensive background searches and lesson should be taken. Not only do people die from shooting but some people die from not knowing how to handle a gun properly.
- I think the response would be very uniting to the residents and bring more people together to help the cause instead of ignore it. I think it would be such a sad and horrible thing to consider, but would open the eyes of many.
- Assault weapons should be banned because of how deadly they are. They are so ridiculous to considered just to be kept as protection. The power that they have is so unneeded, in anyone's situation other than the army. To protect yourself you should just use a smaller more controlled gun that can't shoot hundreds of rounds in seconds. If they weren't able to be banned I think they should have very major test of all kind before being even eligible to buy one. These weapons are also not really commonly used as hunting rifles so there is no use.
- I have told my stance and most my family agrees one what I agree with or have to say, but I do try my best in any political situation to respect the mindset of others. I know a lot of people have strong thoughts as well as I so I try to be respectful in certain circumstances..
- If I had the money to support the affected families I would try to donate, and would also participate in any marches. If I was 18 I wold also try to use my voting abilities to help the situation.
