  1. This article is about how video games have recently been considered addictive by the World Health Organization. This topic has been very controversial for a long time and a lot of people are happy with the decision made. People also now think that due to it being a disorder insurance companies have to cover it.  Professionals are comparing the use of video games and being addicted to drugs or alcohol, and say it is a thing to take seriously.
  2. Some indication can be if the game is taken away and the child has a meltdown over the situation. Another is that if they are "too busy right now" and won't make time for  =other important things like school and family. More are can't control there use of it, and disobeying rules against using it.
  3. An addiction is defined in the article as " a compulsion to do something," the gaming will give them an excited rush such as gambling for some would.
  4. After reading this article I do think that gaming can be a serious problem. Before I just thought of it more as a fun thing that people like to do, but I feel now that it is something that needs to be taken seriously like the article says.
  5. I play games on my hones occasionally on my phone like `candy crush to pass time when bored. My friends also do the same thing as I, I don't think any of us are addicted.
  6. Like I mentioned before I don't think any of us are addicted just because we don't play that often.
  7. A solution to this is for the parent to keep them preoccupied and make them a list of things to do to get there mind off of it. The last solution was to limit the persons screen time or use as a reward for doing good.
