Not a Good FIT

1. Lauren Ward wrote the story
2. Her story is about how the new FIT time is way to short to complete things and she would rather have more lunch time to go to her teachers the or in the morning instead of then.
3. "FIT isn’t worth losing the 20 or so minutes off of lunch. We already have access to the tutoring center in the mornings beginning at 7:45 and in the afternoons ending at 6:30. Each of our teachers have specific tutoring times that we can utilize. Lunch also allowed time to turn in time sensitive homework or assignments, but with this new FIT time, lunch no longer gives us enough time to do the things we used to be able to do." She really does not think fit is necessary for her because she does not have a lot of time to even complete an assignment.
4. No she only kind of mentions there are pros in the beginning but never fully addresses it.
5. She had some parts that she said that would make it better, but she then proceeded to say what was wrong wit the way to fix it.

2. The story is about how the school district has recently banned book from the high school due to parents complaining about mature content included in the books.
3. The writer think that the ban in  not necessary because we are exposed to similar things on the internet. "I think banning these books is a little over the top because of content parents don’t think their children should see. In our society, students are exposed to these inappropriate themes in every which way. We see it on every social media website and watch it in many of the shows and movies on TV, so, in their eyes, it really isn’t sheltering them from anything they don’t already see or hear."
4. H does addresses both sides on what parents would care about, but prominatley focuses on his negative opinion.

Verdict in on Homecoming Court

2. This story is about how the homecoming voting process at the school needs to be changed because it can lead to awkward situations or non fair chances.
3. " While homecoming court is a longstanding and cherished American tradition, there is a lot left to be improved." In the quote he says that the tradition is a good one ,but just very out dated and needs improved.
4. He only really talks about the negative of the voting system.
5. Yes he did mention some ways to fix the problems.
6. It was written in second person.
