Long answer
- Some people may think self driving cars on very risky on the road, but Steve Mahan who is legally blind thinks the exact opposite. Steve was the first man to drive in a self driving car al alone last year. Steve says that self driving car are very beneficial for disabled people who can't drive, and this will help those people have more confidence to leave the house instead of having to rely on other or public transportation.
- Disabled people would benefit from self driving cars the most because they are not allowed to drive. Relying on others or public transportation can be vey hard for them so self driving cars would give them the freedom of being able to go places.
- I would feel just okay with driving around with self driving cars. Like the article most crashes are human error and normally machines do not make to many mistakes . I would maybe feel a bit nervous if the person in the drivers set can not see at all to respond to something like that though.
- I think the next biggest tech transportation will probably be some type of floating car. I feel like just everything else has been done except that so it might be a while, but that is my prediction.
