My name is Avery Shelton and I am in ninth grade.
2.Why do you think you are the student of the month?
I think I am student student of the month because I put a lot of effort into every assignment I do.
3.What are some study tips you would like to share, and how do they help you?
Some study tips I have is to study in a group. I like this because it is nice to get others opinions and use different techniques.
4.Explain what motivates you when doing homework?
When I am doing homework I know that all the studying and work will pay off in the future.
5.Who do you look up to?
I look up to my mom, because she is a good person and always make the correct decision.
6. How do you balance being a student and any other activities you are involved in?
Any free time I get I like to study, and do my homework so I am Not up late every night.
7.Explain the subject you think you are best at?
I think my best subject is English because I like reading and writing come naturally to me.
8.What are the goals you would like to achieve before the end of this school year?
Some goals I wish to complete is to keep my grades up and maintain all my extracurricular activities.

Be fore the end of high school I want to set myself up for success for college.

My favorite teacher has been my biology teacher. I like her because she is very hands on and helpful.

My favorite thing is all the freedom we receive.

Being student of the month means a lot because all hard work will eventually pay off.
13. Have you been you ever won any other academic awards?
No this is my first, but I hope to win more.
14. Explain your least favorite things about high school?
My least favorite things are all the pressure and stress it come with.
15. What are some of the hardest things you have had to complete academically?
I have done a lot of big projects that included a bunch of research.
16. Explain what helps you get u and get ready in the morning?
Having an everyday routine helps me prepare for school.
17. What are your main priorities when in school and how do you make sure you complete them?
In school I try to maintain what the teachers say by taking good notes and not getting distracted.
18. What is the key to getting good grades and doing well in your perspective?
Most important thing is communication with your teachers because they are their and will be able to help you the most.
19. Do you plan on attending college, if so where and what will your major be?
I do plan on attending college, but I don't know where or what yet.
20. How haas student of the month affected your life?
It has shown me that my hard work really does payoff and to continue doing good work.
