Additional student of the month interview




interviewee 1: Mother of student

1. What is your name and how are you related to the student of the month?
My name is Jessica Shelton and I am Avery's mother.

 2. Does Avery consistently have impressive grades?
Avery has always been a great student and had good grades, she is a very hard worker.

 3. How often do you notice that Avery is studying or doing homework?
Avery spends around one or two hours every night on studying and homework.

 4.What was your reaction when she told you she won?
I was so happy she finally won something because she really deserves it since she works so hard. I really think this will even boost her to work harder to win it again since she s pretty competitive.

 5. What do you think Avery will do after high school?
I am pretty sure Avery will go to college to get a degree, but I am honestly not sure yet because she has not really shown much interest in any specific job field yet. I won't push her to do anything though because I know she will make the decision that it correct for her.

 6. What do you think motivates Avery?
Avery's motivation definitely comes from me because I always encourage her to do good in school.

 7. What is you favorite part about Avery?
Avery is just all over a great person, but my favorite is her work effort. She always makes me smile when I see her working hard whether it is when she dances or is doing school.


interviewee 2: Avery's best friend

1. What is your name and relation to Avery?
My name is Elizabeth shymquiwe and I am one of Avery's best friends.

2. How does Avery help you in school?
Avery is great to study with, she always has some great insightful tips and seem to memorize the information really quick and comes up with fun ways to help me.

3. How do you feel about her winning the student of the month?
I am so proud of her because this is something she has been wanting to do and she really does deserve it with all the effort she puts into every assignment.

4.  Is Avery good at balancing her dancing, friends, and school?
Avery defiantly balances everything great. she always has time to hang out, but studies after school to which is super cool. 

 5. Has Avery changed since winning student of the month.
I think avery has become even more serious about schooling and loves to finish her assignments soon after assigned and makes a point to.
